Global event risk in BoE and NFP | Ausbiz
The BoE steps up this week, and Isaac Poole from Oreana expects a few hawkish headlines based on the pickup in activity and inflation. However, market reaction is likely to be muted as actual policy settings are likely to remain unchanged. The one to watch: will previous hawks withdraw their talons? And of course, it’s non-farm payrolls week. While jobs added tend to dominate the headlines, look out for signs of wages pressure.
