Isaac Poole from Oreana Financial Services runs the ruler over the week it is going to be. Today is global PMIs day across the world and Isaac says he is expecting softer reads across the economy thanks to the rise of the Delta variant. The numbers, he says, will be useful for a general trend rather than a specific pin point. Meanwhile, in China, the focus on zero COVID is happening at the time that the economy should be transitioning from manufacturing and goods-led growth recovery to services/consumption led growth.
