Fiscal support to continue to support markets | Bloomberg
Oreana’s CIO Dr Isaac Poole recently shared his views in two broad ranging interviews, covering the impact of negative and low real yields, and how that could impact the global equity market, gold and commodities, and sovereign bond markets. Isaac discussed how the US yield curve is particularly important at the moment, and the impact the Fed is having by imposing its view on longer-dated bonds. That is critical for financial and cyclical global equity outcomes. There was also a discussion on New Zealand focusing on the extension of the asset purchase program and the potential impact of negative interest rates on the Kiwi.
